That night, I was the luckiest girl on earth. Being in the middle of 3 great ladies : former None Jakarta 2006 till 2008. The last time we had dinner together was in 2009 right after I’ve got my crown. 1 year has passed, more than enough to see how things changed, and I’m even more proud of them...Where should I start?
Non Uchie (2006), married and been working for a private jet company, has shared many precious experiences about work and marriage.. With her funny stories, she has successfully reminded us not to put ‘too high standard’ from an ideal husband to be, because at the end, there isn’t such any perfection. . One thing I really admire from her is I think she has all the capabilities a public figure needs : Very beautiful, looks elegant, super smart, brilliant English, funny, outstanding, etc etc, and has such a big chance to take it whenever she wants if she wants. She can actually beat it effortlessly while there are many ladies out there put their most efforts to be famous..... But she keeps her priority to build a solid family and being a good wife. How lucky her husband is!
Non Dara (2007), is about to give her crown back as Miss Tourism Indonesia (yes, she won again as the first), and been around Indonesia (22 provinces in total) to do different stuff of promotions. Being a queen given her a strategic position between Indonesian Culture and Tourism Ministry and DKI Jakarta City Government . Same thought like Non Uchie, she has everything a woman needs to be Puteri Indonesia (just an example, or even more), but she keeps her priority to experience more of the work-field, while contributing something real to this country. I really admire the fact that she’s brilliant inside, but very down-to-earth outside.. Not surprised that she won as Miss Friendship when attended Miss Tourism World in 2010. You need to see her in person to see how sparkly she is...
Non Milly (2008), is about to start her carrier as a TV host for an Indonesian top-notch news channel. Again, I’m not surprised with it : she’s definetely got a strong side in everything she does, especially public speaking. Having seen her many great performances as MC or singer, I’ve learned a lot from her to be strong (yes, she’s the strongest girl I’ve ever met), to speak up without any fear, to learn-hard-then-fall-then-wake-up-again-to-learn-till-we-can and to give our very best at every single time. Just put whatever she wants to be, or how much amount she wants, I bet she will make it in time :)
3.5 hours have passed and my Caramel Frappucino is about to finish... There are so many things to be proud about of them, with their own complicated problems, different characteristics, or even silly stories. My mind flew away thinking how lucky I am being in the middle of them. It might have been the most expensive course if I have to pay for that dinner...
